After a thrilling exhibition race followed by a Formula Foil European Championships, the first-ever iQFOiL European Championships has commenced with 136 sailors registered. 102 men and 34 women have signed in for this historic race which will crown the first European Champion in the history of the iQFOiL class.
The first day started with sunshine and windy conditions but was soon followed by bad weather which shut down the regular south streams on the lake of Silvaplana.
The next four days will offer a variety of conditions. With the fleet able to do both slalom and course racing, there are lots of options to get some racing in the bag.
